LMAO [Feb. 28th, 2007|05:21 am]

Nic Cage wants the lead in the remake of Cronenber's remake of The Fly. He'd be so amazing wrong for the role it's not funny, I say this because the Seth Brundle character is neither a pathetic pushover without no self confidance nor is he a sarcastic bastard that you love to hate. Which is unfortunate because those are the only two roles Nic Cage can actually play, any diversion and we get.... THE WICKERMAN!!!!

The other hilarious part about this is, it's a fucking remake of a fucking remake. They have run out of horror remakes so now they are remaking the remakes wonderful.

Nic Cage is a dork and is one of the only reasons aside from poor time management I haven't seen Ghost Rider yet. I can't help but laugh at any movie he is in.

d00d... *random wavings* ^_^; Apparently Wes Bentley is amusingly evil and snarky in Ghost Rider, at least, though I haven't seen it myself just yet.

...I didn't think that Cameron Poe, in Con Air, was either of those character types, and I actually really liked him in that movie.

Given that I went in fully expecting to hate it as (1) a mindless action movie with (2) terrible acting from Nick Cage, and it ended up being neither, I'll happily consider his presence a mild plus to the argument for seeing any movie.
